The New Year is always a good time to lay down aims and goals. Since our inception, we have always maintained a goal-oriented mindset. Having had some time to reflect over the Christmas break, January is the natural time to consider where we will direct our focus.

The last two years have really been tough, but it has shown that as event industry experts, we are able to adapt & accommodate the unexpected. In fact, it has shown that we do so much more than that…

In a time where the ‘normal’ way of doing things was no longer possible, it was adapt or die for all in the event industry.
We were successful at adapting. We questioned everything. ‘How can we overcome this challenge’ fast became a regular question within our team. We found not only solutions, but also opportunities.

Whilst we’ve always been focussed on delivering events & experiences that amaze & astound delegates, this new shift only added to our already open mindset of continual improvement.

Interestingly, Mahatma Gandhi has often been quoted as saying ‘Be the change you wish to see in the world’ & that resonates with us.

However, according to Joseph Ranseth what Gandhi actually said,

“We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is & the source of our happiness. We need not to wait to see what other do”
Mahatma Gandhi

Now that is exactly what we want to do…

We’re constantly asking ourselves ‘is this the best way to do this?’ Our thought process is focussed firmly on the very best outcome & delivery of our client’s message. We don’t sell a solution because we have that specific (& expensive) bit of kit in our warehouse & it needs using! Likewise, we don’t deliver events in a particular way because that’s the way they’ve always been done. We challenge. We question. We continually improve. We are making industry changes.

Leading change in events & communications is one thing. But leading change for our team is just as important. We consider ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) a massive part of what we do (more on that soon…) For now though, we are a team, the creative collective an&d in order to create & deliver amazing work, we need to be in optimum health & state of mind. Health & wellbeing are key areas for us as a company.

We are changing the world of events. We are taking the lead & we’re not waiting for anyone!
