When your delegates attend your event, you want them registered with ease, you want them to know where they are going when they’re through and you want them sat down exactly where you want them. But where do their heads turn when they are in the conference room that was so meticulously planned? The screen, of course. That’s why creative content is at the core of what makes an event worthwhile for your delegates.

Death by Powerpoint

This is a term used in the industry to describe the boredom associated with basic click-through presentations. When you have a 15-meter LED screens, ‘death by powerpoint’ would be purely a waste of potential.

This is avoidable with some artistic flair, smart transitions and imagery. A powerpoint itself shouldn’t be a script, and should not contain masses of text. A powerpoint or keynote is a visual aid to what is being said, and should compliment, not mirror what the speaker is saying.

Story Telling

Don’t use presentations just to explain your points. Tell a story. ‘Story telling’ isn’t just a phrase we throw around. There is a way to do it and the key to any story is progression. With any story, the audience is brought to the edge of their seats, not just by being impressed by what they see, but by anticipating what will come next.
A corporate presentation can still do this. You can present challenges your business faces and your journey in overcoming them. Or you can explain the problems your consumers face and how your product or service solves them.

Opening Videos

Any event manager has seen a speaker walk on stage while the crowd is still buzzing, and struggle to find a point to begin while the audience isn’t silent. This is where an opening video comes in. It serves as a way of shifting focus from the crowd to the stage. Impressive visuals and thrilling music then acts as a gateway to engage the crowd and prepare them for what’s to come.
