You've found an events team you like the look and sound of, but the second-guessing has started. Are they too small to pull off something this big? Or too big to take a more modest event seriously, with costs to match?

It's a fair question, and one we hope people ask. Yet it's still the wrong one. What actually matters isn't how big a team is; it’s whether they'll get you, your event and your people.

Size tells you almost nothing

Bigger doesn't mean better, and small doesn't mean limited. A polished pitch doesn't always translate to a well-run day. Many events tick the boxes but never quite come to life: everything works, yet nobody is stirred.

What counts is judgement: whether a team truly understand what you're trying to achieve, asks the questions that matter, and spots the snags before they become problems. The right partner is less a supplier, more someone on your wavelength, who can picture the room you're trying to create.

That clever bit of kit nobody asked for, graphics that look impressive but say nothing? They're not the point. How people feel in the room is the point.

At a recent celebration dinner, we wrapped the whole room around the story coming from the stage. As the speaker talked, the walls and the ceiling came alive with it; roving imagery gliding silently around the room, the projection shifting with every turn of the tale. Guests weren't watching a presentation; they were sitting right inside it.

We've also watched a single, well-chosen stand stop one person in their tracks; the right message, in the right place, at exactly the right moment. Same feeling. Wildly different size. That's what stays with people long after the lights come up, and it's never the biggest event that does it. It's the one that was the right size for them.

Sometimes it's a couple of lightboxes. Sometimes it's a whole world

The right size means shaping our services around your brief, not squeezing you into a shape to suit us. You can have exactly as much or as little as the moment needs.

That might be a couple of lightboxes and a banner stand stored in our warehouse, ready to travel, set up and taken down, so your sales team simply turns up and starts talking. Or it might be subtly taking charge of an event the venue was technically "looking after": a clicker in the right hand, speakers who know their cues, nobody stuck behind a pillar. Or it's transforming a space entirely, here or across Europe, with graphics, production and storytelling that pull in the same direction.

Different shapes and sizes, all with the same care and all beginning with one question: why are we doing this?

We'd rather get it right than make it big

We work this way on purpose. We care far more about the result and the people in the room than the size of the job. We know how much is riding on getting it right for you.

There are no surprise extras or layers piled on for the sake of it. We run a business too, and know exactly what that looks like from your side of the table. We do our best work when transactions blossom into relationships.

So, the better question

Next time you're weighing up an event partner, try asking differently. Not “How big are they?”, but “Will they get it right?”

If you'd like to find out, tell us what you're hoping to achieve and we'll shape the rest around it.
