Axopar exhibition stand design & build - Southampton International Boat Show 2021
THE BRIEF

Our brief from the Axopar London team was to create a striking exhibition stand design that would make an impact at the boat show & effectively communicate their campaign messaging. An additional consideration was the stand needed to be on a floating outdoor pontoon measuring only 11.5m x 5m.

Following a series of issues with their stand positioning at the show, event scheduling & final confirmation our client was only able to brief us & provide stand details just 10 days before the show opened to the public & with a two-day onsite build schedule, we received sign off just 6 days before our team arrived in Southampton.

But with our company ethos of “the possibilities are endless” this was a challenge we couldn’t say no to.
THE SOLUTION

We understand the art of making use of limited space & were fortunate that Axopar have such a strong brand identity, so to achieve the result, our production team started by adding a marine ply base layer to the pontoon followed by 4m gazebo, with AstroTurf outside & inside the structure grey carpet, we then constructing free standing walls using the Tecna T3 which helps us to reuse these elements which in turn helps us with our goal to achieve net zero events.

Next our production team clad the structure in white steel fascia on all external walls & following this, logos, internal full wall fabric graphics & 65” plasma screen were added to help visually enhance the brand messaging. Finally, to furnish the stand we added bar unit, wine fridge, reception counter & a selection of poseur tables, bar stools & a white sofa to give a high end feel to the overall production.
